Where to find me

Every Wednesday morning from April I'll be at Montague Gallery in Worthing, if you fancy popping in to say hi.

Upcoming exhibitions, art fairs, workshops and other stuff that you should totally come to is listed below. Go on, you know you want to.

Last updated March 2019. If you think I might have forgotten to update the page, or are making a special journey, do contact me first to check it's all going ahead as planned.

Refill Shoreham, Ropetackle Centre, Shoreham, 19 March 2019, 5-8pm

I'm very excited to be joining Neighbourhood Store for the launch of Refill Shoreham, an initiative to help people refill their reusable water bottles instead of buying single-use plastic bottles - businesses taking part in the scheme display the Refill logo in their window, and can be found in the Refill phone app, and people know that they can pop in and top up their water for free.

I'll be at the Ropetackle Centre from 5pm with my upcycled beach litter artwork, come and say hi and learn more about reducing your plastic footprint. More info on the event here. More info on the Refill project here.

BHAC Spring Exhibition, Friends Meeting House, Brighton,
10-13 April 2019

I'll be exhibiting again this year at the Brighton and Hove Arts Council annual exhibition, with Adur Arts Collective. There's no theme, so you can expect to see lots of wonderful and varied art and sculpture from local artists.

If you get a chance to pop in, feel free to vote for one of my pieces for the People's Choice Award :)

March of the Mermaids Fin-Raiser, Brighton, 27 April 2019

On April 27 I'll be at the Fortune of War in Brighton, where March of the Mermaids will be auctioning lots of fabulous artwork, including my upcycled mermaid (pictured) made from beach litter found on beach cleans.

The auction will support two of my favourite charities, Surfers Against Sewage and Marine Conservation Society. More info on the event here.

Sussex Pink Week, Brighton, 29 April - 4 May 2019

I'll be exhibiting with Sussex Pink Week again this year, to raise awareness about breast cancer, making sure people check themselves on a regular basis to detect early signs, as well as fundraising for their two chosen charities - Coppafeel and Breast Cancer Now.

More details to follow. More info on Sussex Pink Week here.

REclaim Community Recycling Festival, Shoreham,
25-27 May 2019

The REclaim festival is still in the planning stages (if you'd like to help out with funding, please click here - if we raise enough, the artists might even get paid in real money instead of 'exposure', which is always a bonus).

You can keep up do date on facebook, and I'll post here when I have more details.

I'll be running a beach clean, an upcycling workshop, and exhibiting some of my upcycled art. Watch this space.

Underwater Exhibition, Gosport Diving Museum,
25-27 May 2019

This year I'll be exhibiting once again at the Gosport Diving Museum 'Underwater' Exhibition. This year the exhibition will be highlighting the threats plastic pollution pose to our ocean, so my work should fit right in :)

My ocean-themed greetings cards are available in the gift shop too.

Pictured: my 'Plastic Bag Jellyfish' made from upcycled beach litter, which received a commendation at the 2017 Underwater Exhibition.

I have a few limited edition giclee prints of Plastic Bag Jellyfish still available, do contact me if you'd like to buy one (ships anywhere, plastic-free packaging)

REclaim exhibition, Skyway Gallery, Shoreham,
18 May - 2 June 2019

I think this one is going to be Shoreham's first group show of all upcycled / reclaimed / found object / environmental art. Obviously I'll be there with my eXXhibition pieces made from upcycled beach litter :)

Launch event for the Plastic Free Lewes Pledge, Lewes Town Hall, 1 June 2019.

Very much still in the planning stage, I've been invited to attend this event by Plastic Free Lewes - I'll either be manning a stall showcasing platic-free living and chatting with people about reducing their plastic footprint, or, I'll be showing my upcycled artwork, or, I'll be giving a talk about my time with eXXpedition and plastic pollution. Or some combination of those things. But I'll be there saving the world - come say hi :)

St Mary de Haura annual exhibition, Shoreham, June 2019

You can to see my work, along with lots of other fantastic pieces by Adur artists, in the beautiful setting of St Mary de Haura in June. You'll also have the opportunity to take a spiritual journey around the church's Mystic Rose Labyrinth.
